Prior to returning any product, please contact us at: email@example.com to verify with us first. DO NOT send scooters to the manufacturer OR the address it was shipped from! (If this step is skipped buyer takes full responsibility for all shipping costs to get the package to our warehouse. All lost or damaged packages that were sent back incorrectly will be the responsibility of the buyer)
To qualify for a return the product must be returned undamaged, unused and in its original packaging and same condition as the day it arrived. Buyer pays for ALL shipping costs (original shipment and return)
Damaged Packages in Transit
Damaged Boxes: Shipping oversized large items across the country can incur some scuffs around the box, that is normal for all shipping companies across the United States. The purpose of the box is to ensure the unit inside is well protected
If your products are damaged during transit:
Please refuse delivery and have the driver note refusal reason as “damaged”.
If you are unable to refuse the damaged shipment or if freight damage is concealed, notify us and the freight company immediately.
Shipping related damages must be reported to the freight company and to us within 3 days of receipt of shipment.
Take pictures of the damage and ask the freight company for a confirmation or claim number.
Open a support ticket with Xtreme Scooters PR describing the damage, including photos, videos and confirmation number from the freight company. Do not throw away the original packaging!!
All returns purchased from Xtreme Scooters PR MUST be shipped back within 10 days of delivery. Once received we will inspect the product and all refunds will be issued within 10 business days of us receiving it. Final amounts will ONLY be issued to the form of payment used for the original purchase.
We do not accept returns of used products and there will be an automatic 10% restocking fee deducted from all unused returned merchandise.
If you would like to exchange your scooter for another option, please contact us and we will make every effort to make that happen. Return shipping charges will be the responsibility of the buyer.
All Pre-order cancellations and RETURNED items made after 24 hours of being placed will be charged a minimum 10% processing fee. X4's are charged a flat $100.
Xtreme Scooters PR also reserves the right to refuse any returned scooter we feel does not meet our standards for resell.
This limited Warranty applies only to new products purchased from Xtreme Scooters PR.
This Limited 90 day Warranty is NON-transferable after the product’s initial sale.
Our warranty covers all new scooters against manufacturing defects for 3 months (90 days) from date of purchase. Please keep your original sales receipt in a safe place. We will need a copy of it to process any warranty request.
For 3 months (90 days) from date of purchase Xtreme Scooters PR will repair your electric scooter and cover all associated parts, cost and labor. We ship parts for free for self repair.
We may choose to address major defects identified during the first 30 days of receiving the scooter by sending you a new replacement.
Unless there is a manufacturing defect identified within the first 30 days after delivery, buyers are responsible for shipping cost when returning a scooter to us for repairs. This is rare as most repairs can be performed at home with our guidance.
All Scooters purchased outside of the Lower 48 will come with a full 3 month new scooter warranty. ALL SHIPPING COSTS (starting from the date of purchase) related to warranty claims made outside the lower 48, will be the responsibility of the customer. When you purchase from outside of the lower 48 you must be aware that extra shipping costs will not be taken on by the seller.
To start a warranty claim, please send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org including description, video and pictures of the issue.
If you need a repair or if parts are not covered by our warranty, please let us know and we will try to help - usually we can diagnose the problem and send you a replacement part for a fee. If your scooter needs to be returned for repair, we will work with you to keep cost and effort to a minimum.
The following parts and damages are not included as part of the warranty:
Consumables like brake pads, tires, tubes and regular wear and tear of all parts.
Damages, malfunctions, or performance problems caused by collision, fire, accident, environmental conditions (including acid rain, volcanic ash, sea salt, bird droppings, hail or UV exposure), overloading, lack of routine care and maintenance, and/or other misuse not in line with the scooter's intended purpose.
The following events or activities will void the warranty:
Exceeding the weight and/or speed limits (check product descriptions for your model’s limitations)
Exposing the electric scooters or battery to ambient temperatures above 100°F or below 0°F for more than a few hours at a time.
Subjecting the electric scooters to flood water, windstorms, hailstorms, or other similar occurrences
Immersion of our electric scooters in any liquid medium
Attempting to alter the programming of any electronic system
Improper battery maintenance (see manual)
Upgrades, installations performed, and modifications performed to the part after purchase date that has a direct effect on the warranty claim will void the warranty.
